Technician - Endoscopy

• Arrange and maintain equipment and instruments for special procedures related to endoscopy.
• Ensure consent forms contain correct patient information and are signed by the concerned authority.
• Follow sound aseptic measures.
• Perform departmental endoscopy activities independently, including:
  • Cleaning all medical equipment
  • Arranging surgical instruments for procedures
  • Arranging trolleys with minimal supervision
  • Verifying the availability of all equipment, instruments, and consumables before and after procedures, and informing the Gastroenterologist accordingly
  • Documenting the use of all equipment during procedures
  • Completing the consumption forms
  • Implementing and ensuring patient safety measures
  • Coordinating with Housekeeping to maintain OR cleanliness
  • Maintaining effective communication between physicians and patients
  • Performing tasks assigned by the Head of Department
