About the opportunity
  • Assist in localizing, implementing, maintaining, and updating Compliance Policies, Procedures, and Processes. Support the roll-out of a global Compliance Management System and key policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest, Anti-Bribery & Corruption), ensuring alignment with laws, regulations, and business contexts.
  • Assess sanctions risk exposure, oversee sanctions control processes, and establish global standards to manage and mitigate sanctions risks.
  • Train new and current personnel on Sanctions Policies and other corporate compliance policies.
  • Screen applicable sanctions lists using technology and software, evaluate and document results, and make risk-based decisions.
  • Manage and lead responses to non-compliance, including investigations of alleged misconduct (e.g., whistleblower hotline, internal investigations).
  • Adjust the Compliance Program to local requirements in alignment with global Compliance, ensuring all local regulatory and compliance obligations are documented and updated.
  • Ensure employee behaviors and compliance efforts adhere to global and local ethical and legal standards.
  • Identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks, develop corrective action plans, and provide guidance to prevent recurrence.
  • Assess risk exposure by gathering information on potential risks affecting local entities, quantifying and qualifying these risks, and maintaining a risk register.
  • Monitor business trends, political, natural, and environmental factors impacting local entities, and record their impacts in risk registers.
What you need to be successful
  • ACCA qualification, CA part qualification, BBA, MBA, or BSc Hons.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field.
