Job Title: Video Editor

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team at Brand Bonjour. You will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality videos for social media, websites, and digital campaigns, helping bring our clients' visions to life.

Responsibilities:
  • Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media platforms (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts), ads, websites, and marketing campaigns.
  • Create engaging cuts, apply color grading, add sound effects, transitions, text overlays, and simple motion graphics as needed.
  • Understand project goals, storyboards, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across videos.
  • Collaborate with content creators, marketing strategists, and designers to meet project and client expectations.
  • Stay current with video trends, social media best practices, and editing techniques.
  • Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient version control and file management.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms, formats, and aspect ratios.
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency or content marketing setting.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is strongly required. Familiarity with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic motion graphics, typography, and sound editing.
  • Strong storytelling instincts and creative ideas.
  • Attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) and their video content requirements.
  • A portfolio showcasing a variety of video editing styles, especially for digital marketing, ads, or social media content.
Bonus Skills:
  • Basic animation or motion graphics skills (Adobe After Effects).
  • Experience with YouTube content optimization.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising formats (Meta Ads, YouTube Ads).
  • Basic photography or filming skills.
