We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable Truck Dispatcher to join our logistics team. As a dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing freight movement, communicating with drivers, booking loads, and ensuring timely deliveries across the United States.

  • Coordinate and dispatch loads to company or owner-operator trucks.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and brokers via phone, text, and email.
  • Use load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop) to find profitable and suitable loads.
  • Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers.
  • Track and monitor the status of shipments and update ETAs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of loads, contracts, and delivery statuses.
  • Solve issues related to breakdowns, delays, or route changes.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Previous experience as a truck dispatcher or in a similar logistics role (1+ year preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. geography and transportation regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in dispatching software, load boards, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
