Role Description

Accountant

The role will be responsible for performing basic accounts payable and receivable bookkeeping activities to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with accepted accounting principles, company policies, and tax regulations. Perform monthly reconciliations, prepare and post invoices, GL accounts closing entries and analytical work.

The role will be responsible for performing basic accounts payable and receivable bookkeeping activities to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with accepted accounting principles, company policies, and tax regulations. Perform monthly reconciliations, prepare and post invoices, GL accounts closing entries and analytical work.

Qualifications

Masters or Bachelors degree in accounting or finance with 2 to 3 years of experience or part qualified (ACCA Part 2, ACMA post foundation, CMA/CPA part qualified)

Hands-on experience bookkeeping functions include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Asset Accounting.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

Hands-on experience with SAP/Dynamics ERP system.

Proven experience in invoicing, preferably in an import/export or logistics environment.

Familiarity with import regulations and customs procedures is a plus.

Key Skills

Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Good Computer Skills to perform the job successfully, along with good knowledge of MS Office suite.

Good Interpersonal And Customer Service Skills Are Required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
