About the Job:

This is an exceptional job opportunity to join the UK's leading translation and interpretation company TRANSLATION EMPIRE. We are looking for a full-time Assistant Project Manager with background experience in project management/client management for our office located in Phase 7, Bahria Town, Islamabad.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the project's requirements and manage its delivery.
  • Be responsible for and manage the budget/cost (P&L).
  • Attend/conduct client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements.
  • Come up with ideas and plans of action to improve the organization's client handling strategies.
  • Chair site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Provide updates on projects to clients and the senior management team.
  • Help the project team resolve/identify issues immediately and ensure project deliverables are not negatively impacted.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, translators, and the team to ensure high-quality translated materials.
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to queries concerning projects.
  • Ensure smooth internal and external communication on all project-related matters.
  • Produce high-quality work, including checking details, to meet strict deadlines by coordinating with the team.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the internal team, freelance translators, and the company's clients.
  • Perform any relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or an equivalent degree. An MBA from a top business school is preferred.
  • Professional certification(s) in Project Management will be a plus.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in managing data.
  • MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
  • Good persuasive skills.
