About the Job:
This is an exceptional job opportunity to join the UK's leading translation and interpretation company TRANSLATION EMPIRE. We are looking for a full-time Assistant Project Manager with background experience in project management/client management for our office located in Phase 7, Bahria Town, Islamabad.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the project's requirements and manage its delivery.
- Be responsible for and manage the budget/cost (P&L).
- Attend/conduct client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements.
- Come up with ideas and plans of action to improve the organization's client handling strategies.
- Chair site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Provide updates on projects to clients and the senior management team.
- Help the project team resolve/identify issues immediately and ensure project deliverables are not negatively impacted.
- Effectively communicate with clients, translators, and the team to ensure high-quality translated materials.
- Respond in a timely and professional manner to queries concerning projects.
- Ensure smooth internal and external communication on all project-related matters.
- Produce high-quality work, including checking details, to meet strict deadlines by coordinating with the team.
- Develop strong working relationships with the internal team, freelance translators, and the company's clients.
- Perform any relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or an equivalent degree. An MBA from a top business school is preferred.
- Professional certification(s) in Project Management will be a plus.
- Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in managing data.
- MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
- Good persuasive skills.
