Web Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to lead the technical buildout and ongoing development of our digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing responsive, mobile-friendly websites using modern frameworks like React or Next.js.

  • Design and develop web applications with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services such as Mailchimp, job board, Airtable, LinkedIn, and YouTube/Podcast platforms.
  • Implement user registration, profile features, and content publishing tools.
  • Create basic CMS features for blog, newsletter, and updates.
  • Develop and automate content pipelines for newsletters, social media posts, and podcast uploads.
  • Integrate social sharing and analytics tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel.
  • Ensure basic SEO and accessibility compliance.
  • Optimize hosting and domain configurations using Netlify and GitHub.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and scale the platform as traffic and functionality grows.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in front-end development with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Backend skills in Node.js or similar with API development experience.

  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integration.
  • Basic design skills and knowledge of design tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Working knowledge of Git/GitHub and version control systems.
  • SEO best practices and ability to optimize website performance.
  • Familiarity with automating or scheduling social media content.
  • Passion for working with tech and impact-driven initiatives.
