Overview

The Human Development Programme aims to support human development through a research-based and multidisciplinary approach, focusing on early childhood as a critical period of life that lays the foundation for future learning, development, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review existing ECD materials, resources, and literature to inform programme activities, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Conduct training of trainers, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews in the community to assess needs and develop targeted solutions.
  • Develop and implement refresher training based on evaluation feedback from participants and stakeholders, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Provide facilitation for a capacity-building program in a specified region, enhancing skills and expertise among local communities.
  • Visit UNICEF ECD centers to gather feedback and insights, informing programme adjustments and improvements.
  • Coordinate desk review and situation analysis for ECD in emergency situations, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Ensure financial coordination and management of project activities, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline with expertise in Early Childhood Development (ECD), demonstrating a strong foundation in the field.
  • At least five years of experience in project management across diverse settings, preferably in ECD, showcasing adaptability and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in organizing and rolling out training programs, leveraging expertise in adult education and capacity building.
  • Excellent record-keeping and report-writing skills, enabling effective communication and programme monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills in English, Urdu, and other local languages, facilitating collaboration and outreach efforts.
  • Superb interpersonal, organizational, and team-building abilities, driving teamwork and productivity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, supporting efficient administration and reporting.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Pakistan, engaging with local communities and stakeholders.
