Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to develop and execute testing strategies for system software. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing code to test system software using various scripting languages.

About the Role
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs. You will be responsible for characterizing system software across multiple quality dimensions, including functionality, reliability, performance, stability, and supportability.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies and plans to ensure thorough coverage of system software.
- Design and develop code to test system software using scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and C/C++.
- Characterize system software across multiple quality dimensions, including functionality, reliability, performance, stability, and supportability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of experience in Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
