Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to fill a key role in our team.

This is a full-time position requiring a proficient developer who is skilled in creating and managing websites using WordPress and its associated technologies.

The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of WordPress development standards and best practices, with strong front-end skills and experience creating and working with custom themes.

Our goal is to develop high-performance WordPress websites with effective and visually appealing implementations.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining WordPress websites, converting PSD or Figma designs into fully functional WordPress websites, writing clean code, producing detailed specifications, customizing WordPress themes and plugins, troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining the core product software and databases for strong optimization and functionality, integrating data with other platforms using API integrations, collaborating with design teams, conducting website performance tests, ensuring compliance with technical SEO standards, staying informed about industry trends and new technologies, and providing technical support and instruction to team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven software development experience in PHP and a strong understanding of WordPress are essential.

Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery is also required.

  • Proficiency in converting PSD or Figma designs to interactive and responsive WordPress websites.
  • Experience with WordPress builders such as Divi; familiarity with Breakdance is considered a plus.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage projects, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
