Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team.

This position involves designing and developing custom WordPress themes from scratch, customizing existing themes and plugins, collaborating with designers, project managers, and other developers, optimizing website performance, and staying updated with the latest WordPress trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom WordPress themes that meet client specifications and design requirements.
  • Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project needs.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver exceptional WordPress solutions.
  • Optimize website performance to ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Extensive knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Proficiency in custom theme development, including creating custom post types, taxonomies, and meta-boxes.
  • Experience with popular WordPress frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, and Underscores.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with headless WordPress development.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and practices.
  • Experience with other CMS platforms such as Drupal or Joomla.
