Financial Transaction Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage financial transactions in our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in accounts payable and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record all material and service invoices for multiple locations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Monitor GR/IR and vendor advances, coordinating with procurement to resolve discrepancies and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Post adjusting entries including accruals, prepayment amortization, and stock-related entries during month-end closing, providing a clear picture of the company's financial health.
  • Record tax expenses (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax) and ensure timely payment, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Process utility bills and credit card payments with accurate expense recording, maintaining a transparent and organized approach.
  • Maintain intercompany reconciliations by recording group charges and balancing receivables/payables, ensuring a seamless financial flow.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial principles.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, showcasing expertise in handling various financial transactions.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP is required, highlighting proficiency in utilizing software for efficient financial management.
  • Prior exposure to the manufacturing/textile industry will be preferred, indicating adaptability to different business environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills, enabling the candidate to effectively manage complex financial data.
