Finance Executive Job Description

The role of a Finance Executive is to oversee and manage the financial functions within an organization. This includes managing accounts payable, maintaining general ledgers, project accounting, and ensuring that all financial transactions are conducted in a timely and accurate manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the accounts payable department and staff.
  • Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, and project accounting functions.
  • E nsure systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning accurately and timely.
  • Ensure the accounts payable and the company's financial obligations are met efficiently.
  • Oversee tax-related processes and support AM taxation to ensure proper tax withholding and clearing of tax GLs.
  • Track financial expenditures, maintain a database, and provide reports as requested by supervisors.
  • Oversee all payment transactions.
  • Monitor the status of all transactions taking place within the company and with external vendors and contractors.
  • Standardize procedures to generate efficiency in-house and create internal templates.
  • Provide active customer service and communicate quickly and accurately.
  • Minimize payable aging agreed on payable terms by improving the system and ensuring compliance with policies and SOPs.
  • Minimize advances in aging by ensuring timely submission of bills of adjustment after an internal audit.
  • Ensure quick resolution of each query within a reasonable time.
