Senior Corporate Affairs Officer

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Corporate Affairs Officer to manage our corporate affairs functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate governance and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Job

  • This role involves overseeing corporate affairs, including Board Meetings and General Meetings.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely issuance of notices, agendas, and minutes.
  • Maintaining statutory records and registers as required by law and regulatory authorities is also a key responsibility.
  • Facilitating communication between the Board and Management is essential.
  • The candidate must ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2017 and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Correspondence with Ministries is a part of this role.
  • Oversight of compliance reporting and risk management is also involved.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage Board Meetings and General Meetings.
  • Ensure the timely issuance of notices, agendas, and minutes.
  • Maintain statutory records and registers as required by law and regulatory authorities.
  • Facilitate communication between the Board and Management.
  • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2017 and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Correspondence with Ministries.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field and reputed organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate affairs.
  • Hands-on experience in writing regular expressions.
  • ACCA or CA Inter from a recognized institute.
