Sales Development Manager
Role OverviewThe Sales Supervisor will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving sales performance, and developing a high-performing sales team.
Main Tasks- Communicate sales objectives and expectations to staff and foster open communication with senior management.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Sales Representatives, focusing on sales skills development and performance improvement.
- Lead by example in achieving sales targets and exploring new business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability while optimizing costs.
- Establish and maintain efficient workflows and processes.
- Collaborate with Outside Sales to source new business leads.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and product information.
- Ensure customer requirements and quality standards are consistently met.
- Promote a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven sales leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in sales planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Knowledge of sales principles, practices, and procedures.
