Job Overview

The role of a Product Finance Leader involves overseeing the development and implementation of innovative financial solutions tailored to meet client needs.

This position requires a deep understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business models, financial projections, and industry/sector trends to identify key risks and opportunities.
  • Negotiate and structure facility terms to ensure alignment with client objectives and organizational policies.
  • Review and verify accuracy of documents prepared by team members to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Transaction Execution & Monitoring

  • Assess credit proposals, pitch books, teasers, and information memorandums to ensure they meet commercial and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Shariah, Risk, Legal) for approvals and interact with external banks and financial institutions for approvals and feedback.
  • Engage in meetings, presentations, pitches, and discussions to foster relationships and build trust with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Supervise review of transaction documents to ensure compliance with approved commercial and Shariah terms.
  • Oversee the transaction approval, CP compliance, and disbursement process end-to-end in coordination with business partners.

Audit & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to relevant policies, procedures, SBP guidelines, and organizational policies/manuals relating to Compliance, Audit, and Shariah.
  • Monitor and address audit objections promptly to maintain good governance and risk management practices.
  • Ensure Shariah compliance by adhering to approved process flows and guidelines.
  • Submit timely MIS and regulatory reports to stakeholders.
  • Supervise maintenance of records and files for compliance and audit purposes to ensure transparency and accountability.
