About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating portfolio performance, reviewing First Line of Defence sampling, and consulting on changes to risk reporting procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of credit risk management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate Portfolio Performance: The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to portfolio performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  2. Review First Line of Defence Sampling: The candidate will review First Line of Defence sampling to ensure that Automated and Assisted Decisioning (AAD) is being used correctly and decisions are in line with expectations.
  3. Consult on Changes to Risk Reporting Procedures: The successful candidate will consult with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in risk reporting procedures and implement changes as necessary.
  4. Continuously Reassess Operational Risk: The candidate will continuously reassess the operational risk inherent within Credit Risk, considering economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures, management restructuring, and the impact of new technology.
  5. Adhere to Internal Controls: The successful candidate will adhere to internal controls as stated within policy and demonstrate adherence to these controls.
  6. Provide MI and Reports: The candidate will provide Management Information (MI) and other reports to keep relevant stakeholders fully informed of segment performance.
  7. Maintain Compliance: The successful candidate will monitor compliance with AAD procedures and report non-compliance to local line management as appropriate.
  8. Collaborate with Stakeholders: The candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders, including the CMB UK leadership team, CMB Product teams, and Group Risk Analytics (GRA), regarding automated and assisted decisioning.
