Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing electrical and control system drawings, including system topologies, communication drawings, electrical schematics, instrument loop hookups, and power distribution drawings.

You will also maintain records of engineering documentation and monitor design changes. Ensuring compliance with drafting and engineering standards is a critical aspect of this role. Utilizing AutoCAD and other CAD tools effectively is essential for success in this position.

To be successful as an Electrical Design Engineer, you should have a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 7-10 years of relevant experience. Certification in AutoCAD is mandatory. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are required. You must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Electrical and Control System Drawings: Develop detailed electrical and control system drawings, including system topologies, communication drawings, electrical schematics, instrument loop hookups, and power distribution drawings.
  • Maintain Records and Monitor Design Changes: Maintain accurate records of engineering documentation and monitor design changes to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure Compliance with Standards: Ensure that all electrical designs comply with relevant drafting and engineering standards.
  • Utilize CAD Tools Effectively: Utilize AutoCAD and other CAD tools effectively to complete electrical designs and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification: Certification in AutoCAD is mandatory.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
