Job Summary:

A Fire Alarm Systems Specialist is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. This role involves troubleshooting system issues, conducting regular tests, and collaborating closely with clients to guarantee their fire alarm systems meet all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Setup: Install fire alarm systems according to specific requirements, including programming and configuring alarm systems for optimal performance.
  • Maintenance and Inspection: Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure they are operational and compliant with national and local fire safety codes and regulations.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair issues with fire alarm systems, responding promptly to service calls and emergency situations. Replace or repair faulty wiring, components, and devices as needed.

Requirements:

Diploma in Fire Alarm Technician or Relevant Experience Required

This role requires a qualified professional who can work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be working on-site at various locations, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. They will be required to climb ladders, navigate confined spaces, and work at heights, therefore a good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment are essential.
