Women and Children Advocate

Role Summary:

The Women and Children Advocate will be responsible for providing critical support to vulnerable populations, connecting them with essential resources and services. With a strong background in social sciences or law, this role is ideal for professionals who have extensive experience working on children and women's issues.

• Counsel and guide individuals in crisis situations, referring them to relevant sources of assistance and relief.
• Assess client needs, making informed decisions regarding referrals.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of referral partners, optimizing outreach and communication strategies.
• Foster relationships with institutions sharing similar objectives, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor program progress, analyzing data to ensure targets are met and objectives achieved.
• Design and deliver capacity building trainings, seminars, workshops, and conferences as required.
• Evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improved program implementation.

• Degree in Social Sciences or Law.
• Proven expertise in working with children and women's issues.
• Strong leadership skills, with ability to lead a team.
• Knowledge of the development sector, familiarity with emerging trends.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
