As a seasoned web developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust web applications using the MERN stack. Your expertise in JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js will enable you to craft scalable, maintainable code that meets the needs of our customers.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in:
- JavaScript fundamentals, including DOM manipulation and object-oriented programming
- React.js principles and best practices
- Node.js development, including Express.js and MongoDB integration
You will work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring seamless user experiences. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in web development, focusing on the MERN stack
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice-to-have qualifications include:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and SASS
