Financial Analyst Position

This role plays a critical part in linking operational performance with financial outcomes and commercial strategy.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Develop and analyze management reports to track key metrics.
    • Lead forecasting and financial modeling for plant operations and sales divisions.
    • Monitor manufacturing KPIs such as wastages, cost per unit, and utilization, as well as sales KPIs like volume, margins, and customer mix.
  2. Sales Performance & Pricing Analysis:
    • Conduct sales trend analysis across volume, value, customer-wise, and region-wise metrics.
    • Evaluate gross margin by customer, product line, and segment.
    • Support pricing decisions using cost-plus or market-based models.
    • Assess pricing impact on profitability and competitiveness.
    • Monitor discounts and promotional spending to align with strategic goals.
  3. Market & Competitor Analysis:
    • Analyze industry trends, market share, and competitor performance to inform business decisions.
    • Maintain intelligence on competitor pricing, positioning, and strategy.
    • Conduct SWOT and benchmarking studies for strategic planning purposes.
    • Evaluate macroeconomic, regulatory, and geopolitical factors that may impact the business.
  4. Sectoral & Customer Segment Analysis:
    • Analyze demand and trends across key sectors including automotive, construction, appliances, and commercial markets.
    • Identify opportunities and threats in market segments to inform business strategies.
    • Prepare reports and dashboards on customer performance, sector contribution, and margins.
    • Support sales strategy with segment-specific financial insights.
  5. Strategic & Operational Support:
    • Develop financial models and business cases for new projects, products, and markets.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, and production teams to provide decision support.
    • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for strategic initiatives.
  6. Costing, Inventory & Operational Analysis:
    • Perform cost analysis to identify deviations and root causes.
    • Analyze raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods valuation, and cost drivers.
    • Monitor working capital KPIs and support inventory optimization efforts.
  7. Data Management & BI Reporting:
    • Develop and automate reports using ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of dashboards to support informed decision-making.
    • Enable decision-makers with visualizations, insights, and recommendations.
