About the Job

We are looking for an experienced developer to contribute to the growth of our code base and infrastructure. You will be working with a veteran team of engineers from both Lahore and Silicon Valley to define, scope and develop JVM-based applications. Our approach emphasizes collaboration and shared responsibility among team members.

  • Defining and implementing API boundaries of microservice-based ecosystems
  • Creating services for ingesting, transforming, and transporting cloud usage data to front end applications
  • Collaborating with data engineers to identify deeper and more creative ways to surface cloud compute anomalies to customers

The majority of our codebase is written in JVM-based languages such as Java or Kotlin, backed by SQL databases (Postgres and Clickhouse) and powered by AWS technologies.

  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in a business setting
  • Familiarity with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala)
  • 1+ years of experience working in a cloud compute environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Proficient at working with SQL-based databases - managing connections, writing queries
