Web Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled web developer with expertise in PHP and MySQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CMS systems, particularly Joomla, WordPress, and other open source platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking complex web designs and building them out into fully functioning dynamic websites. They will work closely with the front-end development team to integrate design into web-based applications and customize open-source CMS websites.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing exciting modules to simplify and enhance the everyday lives of people who use the internet daily for work or play.
  • Enhancing the technical team with your brilliance in programming, developing web applications, and writing algorithms.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting web work to improve the functionality of applications, reducing complexity and increasing elegance as far as possible.
  • Customizing themes of different technologies, including WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Drupal, OpenCart, etc.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and strong experience in object-oriented design and development. They will also have experience in relational database development (MySQL, SQLite) and demonstrated ability to accurately estimate effort, prioritize, and deliver on commitments.

Apart from technical skills, the ideal candidate will be self-managed, decisive, and results-focused. They will have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and oral/written communication skills. Additionally, they will be very attentive to detail with a high degree of creativity.
