Financial Operations Leader

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Operations Leader to join our leadership team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll management. They will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with accuracy and timeliness, and prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and board-level presentations.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy. Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, management reports, and board-level presentations. Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial dashboards.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and reporting requirements. Identify and mitigate financial risks across the organization.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering professional growth and development. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, marketing, and executive teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in financial operations, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate financial risks.
