Lead Vocalist

• Audition for positions in orchestras, choruses, bands, and other types of music groups.
• Practice playing instruments or singing to improve your technique.
• Rehearse to prepare for performances.
• Find locations for performances or concerts.
• Travel to performance venues.
• Promote your career by maintaining a professional online presence.
• Memorize musical selections and routines, or sing following printed text, musical notation, or customer instructions.
• Interpret or modify music, applying knowledge of harmony, melody, rhythm, and voice production to individualize presentations and maintain audience interest.
• Perform before live audiences, or in television, radio, or movie productions.
• Develop your skills through practice and study with experienced vocal coaches.
