Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our IT operations team, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and driving process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead urgent issues and projects, ensuring proper status communication and appropriate staffing resource allocation.
  • Document system configuration, processes, and tools used by the team.
  • Develop and implement thorough process methodologies for effective stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with development engineering to create and deploy Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure.
  • Design, implement, and test agreed-upon infrastructures.
  • Automate deployment of Linux applications, system configurations, and security settings.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of related experience in a professional industry.

Essential Skills
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience in a professional industry.
  • Proficiency in tools like Jenkins, Azure, App Center Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, Subversion, Docker, or relevant.
  • Knowledge of both Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and NoSQL data platforms such as MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
  • Experience working with Windows Servers on VMWare, IIS, MSSQL, MongoDB.
  • Advanced level scripting experience in languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Powershell.
  • Strong experience with Linux distributions (Rhel 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux).
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
