Transport Planning Associate Role
We are seeking an experienced Transport Planning Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing transport planning from Port Qasim Karachi for the southern region of Pakistan. This includes managing internal transfers between factories, enhancing aligned processes and routes to drive efficient deliveries, and collaborating with stakeholders across the network.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in transport planning, hands-on expertise in analytics, and inventory management. They will also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to identify and resolve issues or challenges during transport, and proficiency in Microsoft tools. Additionally, they will be adaptable and flexible in dealing with unexpected situations and able to prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery.

The responsibilities of this role include:
• Executing daily transport requirements, ensuring on-time dispatches and minimizing vehicle halting
• Monitoring AI camera observations for the dedicated fleet and planning driver training based on findings
• Leading inbound and outbound operations by planning resources adequately, including material handling operators and labor
• Compiling and updating data on key activities such as overtime, labor productivity, and material handling utilization
• Preparing and overseeing the monthly inventory reconciliation report with the team
• Coordinating with sales and customer service teams for smooth ordering and execution
• Overseeing the monthly internal shifting plan in collaboration with demand and supply planners
• Maintaining clear and timely communication with internal teams, transporters, and team leaders regarding transport-related queries
