The role of an Associate Professor in Medical Imaging Technology involves delivering assigned courses as per faculty workload policy. Key responsibilities include meeting annual targets set by the Head of Department/Principal, supervising student projects and field trips, and where necessary, placements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet annual targets assigned by the HOD/Principal.
  • To teach assigned courses as per faculty workload policy.
  • Supervise student projects, field trips and, where appropriate, placements.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to possess strong presentation skills, student counseling abilities, and research expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Medical Imaging Technology, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role.

Requirements
  • Presentation Skills, Student Counseling, Research Skills,
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging Technology or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in teaching and/or research.

The selected candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development of the department's curriculum, participating in ongoing staff development, and engaging in scholarly activities such as publication and research. A key aspect of this role is the ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time, permanent position working within the first shift (daytime) schedule.
