This Help Desk Technician role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced IT support environment. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective resolutions for technical issues, working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Manage user accounts, including onboarding, password resets, and permissions.
  • Document all interactions and issues in the ticketing system.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical users, ensuring they understand the resolution.
  • Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for clients.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles for common issues and solutions.
Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related fields.
  • Experience:
  • Over 3 years of experience in IT support or customer service.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in Windows and MacOS operating systems.
  • Familiar with Office productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Understanding of networking basics (IP configurations, VPN setups).
  • Familiarity with Managed Services, RMM, PSA, SIEM, EDR, Helpdesk Support, Patch Management, collaboration & documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot and prioritize tasks under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Azure Fundamentals).
  • Familiarity with cloud management, remote monitoring, and patch management.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Zendesk or ServiceNow.
