This role plays a crucial part in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents within clients' networks.

Job Description:
  • Monitor security event alerts generated by advanced security technologies.
  • Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify potential security incidents or breaches.

The Security Operations Center (SOC) team is responsible for safeguarding clients' digital assets from cyber threats. As a Cybersecurity Threat Hunter, you will play a key role in detecting and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  1. Security Event Monitoring: Monitor security event alerts generated by advanced security technologies to identify potential security incidents or breaches.
  2. Proactive Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify potential security incidents or breaches.
  3. Incident Response: Analyze and investigate security alerts to determine the root cause, extent of impact, and appropriate response actions.
  4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the SOC team and relevant stakeholders to coordinate incident response efforts.
  5. Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reporting on security incidents.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards. You will also need to have experience working in a SOC environment or similar role, as well as proficiency in security tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with threat hunting and proactive threat detection techniques.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for task automation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance requirements.
