Expansion Business Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to join Motive as an Expansion Account Executive (AE), working closely with our largest line of revenue, which focuses on SMB customers that comprise the majority of our customer base and contribute significantly to our revenue stream.
To succeed in this position, you should possess a strong track record of success, be highly motivated, and have international exposure to US-customers and culture, continually refining your skillset.
Main Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong executive relationships and gain a deep understanding of each client's business to identify growth opportunities and expansion.
- Conduct surveys to comprehend pain points within clients' businesses and align these needs with Motive's solution.
- Present Motive software and solutions to fleet managers or larger strategic customers.
- Collaborate with your account team to support and grow your customers.
- Address problems by identifying issues, applying critical thinking, and implementing optimal solutions.
- Develop effective plans to achieve and surpass ongoing business objectives and revenue targets.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of our technology platform and operations.
- Analyze and deepen knowledge of market trends to provide consultative insights.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or extensive exposure to US/Canada/UK B2B customers.
- A proven track record of success with 3+ years of relevant or transferable work experience.
- Excellent leadership skills, ability to influence stakeholders, and end-to-end ownership attitude.
- Ability to establish rapport with executive decision-makers, communicate key value propositions, and handle objections effectively.
The estimated annual salary for this role ranges from $120,000 to $180,000, depending on location and experience. A successful candidate will excel in a dynamic environment and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and account development.
