Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- To prepare and present final accounts in accordance with accounting standards, guaranteeing adherence to statutory and company regulations.
- To design, implement, and monitor the accounting system, aligning it with accounting principles.
- To manage the company's financial resources effectively, controlling expenditures and optimizing revenue streams.
- To forecast cash flows on a monthly basis, providing timely and accurate information for business decision-making.
- To track and follow up on accounts receivable and payable, ensuring prompt payment and minimizing delays.
- To coordinate timely payments to suppliers, adhering to the prescribed process.
- To ensure that all transactions, including payments and receipts, comply with company policy and agreed terms and conditions.
- To monitor and renew credit limits with banks as necessary.
- To prepare and submit monthly budgets based on the annual budget.
- To oversee bank and cash transactions, performing thorough reconciliations.
- To prepare and file sales tax returns and withholding statements electronically.
- To handle property tax, professional tax, and other government levies.
- To manage SECP affairs and requirements.
- To prepare annual income tax returns and establish Standard Operating Procedures for efficient departmental management.
- To maintain and update Information Management Systems (ERP).
- CA Finalist qualification or equivalent.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience post-article-ship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Honesty and strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in the Paper, Printing, Packaging & Stationery Industry is advantageous.
