JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation and Control)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems and machinery in our manufacturing facility.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the plant's electrical network, including power distribution, switchgear, and control systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and instrumentation issues in VFFS packaging machines, electric motors, generators, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for packaging machines and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Supervise the installation, commissioning, and modification of FMCG machinery, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Work on PLCs, control panels, and electrical automation systems to improve production efficiency.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of air conditioning systems within the plant.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with industry safety standards, technical regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance, repairs, modifications, and equipment performance for reporting and audits.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong expertise in electric motors, switchgear, generators, and VFDs.
    • Hands-on experience with VFFS (ISHIDA, Wolf & Wright) packaging machines.
    • Proficiency in PLC programming, automation, and industrial control systems.
    • Knowledge of air conditioning systems and power management.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
    • Ability to lead troubleshooting and maintenance activities independently.
