Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of vouchers and posting
  • Assisting with administrative tasks where necessary
  • Dealing with banks
  • Fixed assets management
  • Petty cash handling
  • Compiling and analyzing account information to prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries
  • Documenting financial transactions by entering account information
  • Analyzing accounting options to recommend financial actions
  • Collecting information to summarize the current financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports
  • Auditing documents to substantiate financial transactions
  • Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Coordinating activities and answering questions to guide accounting clerical staff
  • Collecting and analyzing account information to reconcile financial discrepancies
  • Securing financial information by completing database backups
  • Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions
  • Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results
  • Analyzing financial information to summarize the financial status
  • Providing technical support and advice on management
  • Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Participating in financial standards setting and in the forecast process
  • Preparing financial statements and producing budgets according to schedule
  • Directing internal and external audits to ensure compliance

Job Specification:

  • Planning, assigning, and reviewing staff's work
  • SUPPORTING month-end and year-end close processes
  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Communicating effectively with clients
  • Contributing to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
  • Communicating with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise
