Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled hospitality professional to join our team as a Food Service Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable dining experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Take orders from customers and provide helpful suggestions if needed
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately
  • Ensure that all orders are prepared correctly before serving
  • Check on customers regularly to ensure they are satisfied with their meals
  • Handle any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, etc.
  • Handle payments from customers using cash or credit card machines
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Follow all safety and hygiene standards while handling food and beverages

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a server or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling payments accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations is preferred but not required
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds if needed
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
