Online Ecommerce Professional Role

This role requires a highly skilled Online Ecommerce Professional to manage and optimize our Shopify store. The ideal candidate will have experience with Shopify store management, ecommerce marketing, and SEO principles.

You will be responsible for setting up and managing the Shopify store, uploading website assets, implementing site optimisations, and managing the technical roadmap for the website.

  • Setup and manage the Shopify store based on best practices
  • Upload all website assets: products, banners, copy, imagery, and product feeds
  • Implement site optimisations and Shopify Plus upgrades
  • Manage the technical roadmap for the website, including new functionality and UX developments
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute ecommerce marketing strategies to drive online sales growth
  2. Improve SEO to enhance the site's authority and relevancy, focusing on technical SEO and both on-site and off-site content SEO
  3. Identify opportunities to A/B test content, share, and implement learnings
  4. Create marketing material and ads either through online tools or with freelancers
  5. Assess website performance regularly, identifying opportunities to improve UX and conversion, and sharing reporting on web analytics and recommendations
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of managing Shopify store
  • Excellent knowledge of writing and managing blogs
  • Intermediate knowledge of SEO
  • Excellent knowledge of social media and content strategy
  • Excellent knowledge of running ads on all social media platforms and search engines
  • Excellent knowledge of running email and SMS newsletter campaigns
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing and customer engagement
  • Intermediate knowledge of technology, websites, tools, graphic design, UX etc.
