Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting sales targets, generating sales inquiries, and dispatching approved certification proposals to clients. They will also ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, develop annual sales plans, and maintain accurate records.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To meet the monthly sales target assigned by the Business Unit Head.
  • Sales Inquiry generation as per company handbook policy.
  • Dispatch approved certification proposals and contract agreements to concerned clients.
  • Meet deadlines and business objectives set by the Business Unit Head.
  • Ensure Compliance with all company's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and design annual sales plan for the region.
  • Assist Sales Manager to develop and administer sales database which includes client related information, mailing list, client contact details, etc.
  • To keep accurate and transparent inquiry log at all times.
  • Approach potential clients through introductory letters/email/phone calls/social media network/personal contacts/yellow pages/chamber of commerce/associations etc.
  • Minimum 10 potential letters/emails per day to be sent.
  • Maintain an inquiry log of such activities.
  • Develop and maintain contacts and record of potential clients (either seeking or may be interested in certification in the future) of the Business Industry. Examples of such industry/client: textile, pharmaceuticals, processing, and engineering.
  • Preparation and submission of preliminary documentation i.e. inquiry for proposal, contract agreement.
  • Invoice clients for initial advance.
  • Send introductory pack.
  • Pass on information to certification coordination i.e. contract and inquiry form.
