The Government College University Faisalabad invites applications for professor, associate professor, assistant professor, and lecturer positions in various disciplines. Candidates must meet specified eligibility criteria to be considered.
Eligibility CriteriaProfessor (BPS-21)Age Limit: 35-55 Years
Experience:
Ph.D. from a recognized institution with 15 years of teaching/research experience or 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
Minimum Number of Publications: 15 research publications in HEC recognized journals.
Professor (TTS)Age Limit: 35-55 Years
Qualification & Experience: Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution with either 11 years of post-Ph.D. experience or minimum of 7 years of post-PhD experience with at least 12 years of experience prior to the PhD.
Publications: 15 research publications in internationally abstracted journals.
Associate Professor (BPS-20)Age Limit: 35-50 Years
Experience:
Ph.D. in the relevant field from a recognized institution with 10 years of teaching/research experience or 5 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
Minimum Number of Publications: 10 research publications in HEC recognized journals.
Associate Professor (TTS)Age Limit: 35-50 Years
Qualification & Experience: Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution with either 6 years of post-Ph.D. experience or minimum of 4 years of post-PhD experience with at least 6 years of experience prior to the PhD.
Publications: 10 research publications in internationally abstracted journals.
Assistant Professor (TTS)Age Limit: 30-45 Years
Qualification: Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution.
Assistant Professor (BPS-19)Age Limit: 30-45 Years
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Master's degree (foreign) or MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
- First professional degree (4 Years minimum, First Division) with no 3rd division in the academic career from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- 4 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution or 6 years of teaching/research experience in a post-graduate institution.
Age Limit: 21-35 Years
Eligibility Criteria:
First Class Master's Degree under Annual System and CGPA 3.00/4.00 under Semester System OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from a recognized institution.
No experience required.
Instructions- Applications should be submitted with demand draft as per following in favour of Treasurer.
- Candidates from abroad may submit their applications on plain paper accompanied by recent Curriculum Vitae along with attested copies of degrees/testimonials and experience certificates.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
- The University reserves the rights not to consider any application or fill the post without giving any reason.
- Applications are required on prescribed form in quadruplicate for the post of Professor & Associate Professor and triplicate for Assistant Professor and Lecturer.
- Candidates already in Service must apply through proper channel by the due date.
