Product Development Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Consultant to join our team. As a Product Development Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product development process from inception to shipment, ensuring timely delivery, quality, vendor, and price compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of product development, costing, and price negotiation.
  • Sampling approval process monitoring, handling lab dips, bulk color, and quality submissions.
  • Regular follow-up on WIP (Work-in-Progress) and timely delivery reporting.
  • Negotiation with buyers and suppliers to achieve optimal prices, quantities, and timescales.
  • Maintenance of clear and timely communication with internal and external partners.
  • Vendor/factory coordination for inspections, shipping arrangements, and prompt provision of shipping documents.
  • Collaboration with the compliance team for FE renewals and factory corrective action plans.
  • Communication of production and shipment status updates to internal customers.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in merchandising, with expertise in Socks manufacturing.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with attention to product presentation and visual aesthetics.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of merchandising trends and best practices.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills and data interpretation.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain high levels of detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe products.
