Key Responsibilities of a Senior Radio Network Optimization Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all radio network KPIs in their assigned area meet predefined targets as set by headquarters.

  1. KPI Management: Consistently meet radio network KPIs based on BSS statistics and drive test coverage analysis.
  2. Technical Support: Prepare technical responses to regional radio network optimization/planning related queries/issues.
  3. Drive Test Analysis: Coordinate, review, and analyze drive test reports and data collected by Huawei or their subcontractors.
  4. RNO Support: Provide support to the Regional Manager during regional technical meetings.
  5. RNO Guidelines: Propose and implement RNO guidelines and produce/present regional RNO reporting (QoS, DT reports).
  6. BSS Analysis: Perform regional BSS feature and parameter analysis and tuning.
  7. Support Activities: Provide support on re-homing/cutover and upgrade activities.
  8. Cluster Optimization: Conduct cluster optimization activity and routine troubleshooting & network maintenance.
  9. Reporting: Submit final cluster report and obtain approval from customers.
  10. Team Management: Manage a set of clusters and engineers reporting to them.
  11. Knowledge Transfer: Coordinate team-level support and follow up with peer departments for smooth delivery of projects.
Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in radio network optimization and management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to succeed in this role.
