About the Role

The School Coordinator (Primary Section) at LeadingEdge HR Solutions plays a crucial leadership role in ensuring the smooth execution of academic programs and administrative tasks. As a bridge between teachers, students, and school leadership, they influence teaching practices and foster an effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Academic & Curriculum Development:
  1. Develop and manage a comprehensive academic support program for students.
  2. Prepare and maintain subject coordination plans, including lesson planning, assessments, evaluation, and updates to instructional methodologies.
  3. Coordinate with teachers to develop effective lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment strategies.
  4. Assist in the development of training modules and professional development programs for teachers.
  5. Ensure the rechecking of students' notebooks, class work, homework, diaries, assessments, and results for quality assurance.
  6. Maintain an updated examination record and oversee the scheduling and organization of exams.
  7. Plan and implement extracurricular activities such as morning assemblies, themed events, quizzes, and inter-house competitions.
  8. Develop and manage outdoor and inter-school competitions to enhance student engagement.
  9. Coordinate with Principal for preparing and announcing the academic and theme calendars.
  10. Ensure that syllabus breakups are handed over to students at the start of the term.
Administrative Duties:
  1. Manage all documentation and record-keeping, including lesson plans, assessments, and official records.
  2. Maintain daily diaries and attendance registers for classes and teachers.
  3. Prepare and oversee the master timetable, teachers' timetables, free periods, and class schedules.
  4. Responsible for all official circulars, exam timetables, reminders, and school notices.
  5. Handle printing materials such as worksheets, assessments, booklets, and instructional guides.
  6. Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes to ensure effective communication within the faculty.
  7. Coordinate with the academic department for smooth execution of examinations and evaluations.
  8. Guide teachers to manage classroom soft boards and ensure they are updated according to assigned topics.
  9. Provide academic guidance and counseling to students regarding their educational goals and performance.
  10. Analyze information to resolve administrative challenges and propose effective solutions.
Communication & Coordination:
  1. Maintain effective communication channels through phone calls, text messages, emails, videos, and social media platforms.
  2. Act as a connection between teachers, students, parents, and school leadership to ensure academic and administrative harmony.
  3. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and slides for academic and administrative purposes.
English Language Coordination:
  1. Teach English Language to primary students using engaging and innovative teaching methods.
  2. Develop and implement lesson plans, activities, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
  3. Organize literacy programs, reading activities, and English language competitions.
  4. Conduct workshops and training sessions for teachers to enhance their language skills.
  5. Ensure the integration of modern teaching methodologies in English language instruction.
