**About the Role:

Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering position is available in a renowned institution.

  • The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in consultation with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
  • Prior to this appointment, they must have secured significant research experience and academic achievement that demonstrates their potential for independent research and excellent teaching skills.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting impactful scholarly research, publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to student learning and success through effective teaching and supervision methods.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Teach and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in various courses related to Biomedical Engineering.
  • Evaluate student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation to ensure high-quality education and innovative practices.
  • Engage in cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in top-tier journals to advance knowledge in the field.
  • Mentor junior faculty members and contribute to departmental activities and events.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field from an institution recognized by HEC/PEC.
  • Be registered as a PEC engineer.
  • Have at least 10 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution/university or professional experience in the relevant field.
  • Publish at least 10 research papers, with at least 4 published in the last 5 years, in HEC/PEC recognized journals.
