Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions on Azure.

This is a senior, strategic role for someone who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, guiding both clients and internal teams to success.

The ideal candidate is not only an experienced architect but also a clear communicator, pragmatic problem-solver, and someone who has successfully operated within a software services company environment.

  • Design end-to-end software architectures using .NET and Azure that meet business and technical objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and client stakeholders.
  • Define and document architecture decisions, design patterns, integration strategies, and non-functional requirements.
  • Lead architectural discussions with clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and constraints.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements in scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Guide teams on the application of best practices, cloud-native design, and DevOps integration.
  • Participate in pre-sales conversations and technical discovery sessions as needed.
  • Mentor developers and technical leads to elevate overall technical capability across the team.
Core Technical Skills Required
  • Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and cloud-native solution design.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including:
  • App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus
  • Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage
  • Identity & Access Management (Azure AD, Managed Identities)
  • Networking, monitoring, cost optimization, and security in Azure
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience & Background
  • Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a dedicated architecture role.
  • Must have prior experience working for a software services or consulting firm.
  • Experience working directly with clients to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Proven success leading solution architecture for complex, distributed systems.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and executives.
  • Strong client-facing presence with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
  • High degree of critical thinking and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
