We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to drive sales of our software products and services. The ideal candidate is a graduate in computer science, business, or a related field with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand customers' diverse needs and apply product knowledge to meet those requirements.">
  • Ensure quality of service by developing in-depth knowledge of technical specifications and documenting them.">
  • Identify and develop new business through networking and follow-up calls.">
  • Cold-call to create interest in products and generate new business leads and arrange meetings.">
  • Research specific industries or markets to identify opportunities for further sales and new areas for development.">
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of software, articulately and confidently.">
  • Market and promote a portfolio of products by writing sales literature and attending industry events.">
  • Stay updated on changing software, hardware systems, and peripherals.">
  • Develop effective sales plans using established sales methodologies.">
  • Provide technical advice to customers on installation and use of computer systems and networks.">
  • Advise on software features and how they can be applied to assist in various contexts.">
  • Meet sales targets set by managers and contribute to team targets.">
  • Navigate existing customer relationships to promote additional products and upgrades.">
  • Offer support to customers, often on a helpline, providing clear advice and solutions.">
  • Handle hardware or software problems and faults, referring to specialist technical colleagues when necessary.">
  • Respond to tender documents, write proposals, reports, and supporting literature.">
  • Manage your own diary to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals.">
  • Contribute to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.">
