We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our technology team and help take our SaaS platform to the next level.

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled PHP Developer to work on a custom-built SaaS application that integrates WordPress and custom PHP (CodeIgniter framework).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using custom PHP and CodeIgniter framework.
  • Manage and customize WordPress-based frontend interfaces and build bespoke WordPress plugins.
  • Seamlessly integrate custom PHP backend with WordPress frontend to ensure smooth data flow and user experience.
  • Handle database design, optimization, and maintenance (MySQL/MariaDB).
  • Set up and manage RSS (XML) feeds to send, receive, parse, and store news data.
  • Perform API integrations with third-party services and internal systems.
  • Write clean, secure, and efficient code, following best practices and documentation standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in both staging and production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Proven expertise in custom PHP applications and frameworks (CodeIgniter preferred).
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with WordPress, including plugin development and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of how to interconnect and manage hybrid PHP + WordPress systems.
  • Solid experience working with MySQL or MariaDB databases.
  • Deep knowledge of RSS/XML feeds, including parsing, transforming, and storing feed data.
  • Proficient in implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
