Job Summary:

  • Carry out the requirements for accounting and bookkeeping services, and other financial services.
  • Provide professional accounting and financial management service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget preparation and forecasts, account closure processes.
  • Payroll and budget monitoring, financial control, advice service.
  • Students' fees records, fee installments record management.
  • Teaching and non-teaching staff payroll management.
  • Financial transactions documentation, summarizing current financial status.
  • Financial transactions substantiation by auditing documents.
  • Maintaining accounting controls, guiding accounting clerical staff.
  • Reconciling financial discrepancies, securing financial information.
  • Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions.
  • Error-free accounting reports, presenting results to head office.
  • Financial statements, producing budget according to schedule.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
  • Digital and physical records of invoices and contracts maintenance.
  • Accounts payable and receivable handling.
  • Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
  • Collaborating with admin officer for running smooth operations.
  • Queries related to fees and accounts handling.
  • Incoming and outgoing invoices reviewing.
  • Working closely alongside management for comprehensive advice on financial strategies and projects.
  • Supporting establishment and maintenance of a framework of accounting policies and internal financial controls.
  • Financial management and planning within the organization responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Adept computer skills, proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced math skills to keep accurate records and supervise bookkeeping.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact regularly with clients regarding sensitive topics.
  • Excellent organization skills for maintaining clear, accurate, and meticulous financial records.
  • Attention to detail for ensuring accuracy of company's records.
  • Multitasking in order to successfully handle multiple accounts, invoices, and payments at various stages of execution.
