Job Description

The Central Procurement Officer will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the central procurement activities of Ideal Private Limited. This includes developing, reviewing, and approving administrative procedures to maintain efficiency and economy in the system.

The role involves maintaining liaison with purchasing representatives to join cooperative buying efforts that result in cost savings. Additionally, the officer will research and evaluate commodity areas, making recommendations for standardization and additions to the Qualified Products List.

Responsibilities
  • Supervises and participates in the preparation of written financial and administrative reports
  • Establishes priorities, assigns workloads, and reviews complex assignments
  • Interprets contract provisions and reviews contracts for accuracy and changes prior to renewal

The ideal candidate should have command over MS-Office and be able to review purchase requisitions for proper authorization. The officer should also be able to identify potential suppliers and issue requests for quotations.
