Academic Position

We are seeking a distinguished academic professional to lead and manage clinical and academic activities in our department, while delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver educational programs for MBBS/BDS students, including lectures, seminars, and practical skills training, with evaluation and assessment according to curriculum standards.
  • Supervise postgraduate trainees (FCPS and DCPS) in clinical presentations, small group discussions, case-based and problem-based teaching, journal clubs, and preparation for inter-module examinations and dissertations.
  • Clinical Leadership
  • Collaborate with the Head of Department/Professor in organizing clinical meetings and conferences, working closely with other professional organizations.
  • Facilitate research and development through continuous education and a learning environment, assisting with publication requirements as part of career development research activities.
  • Manage, supervise, and train PGs/MOs/HOs and other paramedical staff to ensure delivery of quality health services and enhance patient management skills.
  • Patient Care and Services
  • Conduct regular clinical rounds in the ward to manage and supervise the progress and care of indoor patients.
  • Provide specialist advice on medical problems of patients referred from other departments.
  • Assess patients in the emergency department if required for consultancy.
  • Administrative Support
  • Ensure timely and efficient allocation of resources, including staffing and facilities, to meet patient care needs.
  • Prepare and monitor duty rotas of the department, including paramedical staff, and manage and resolve staff management and placement issues.
  • Maintain close liaison with hospital administration to ensure proper ward management, including patient clinical records and routine matters related to demand, supply, and complaints.
