Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable mobile applications using Kotlin, Java, and Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to understand user needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Integrate with backend services to ensure seamless mobile user experiences.
  • Own end-to-end product modules and features from requirements to deployment.
  • Review code, troubleshoot issues, and advise peers on technical matters.
  • Interact with users to gather requirements and advocate for delightful user experiences.
  • Discover new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
  • Unit-test code for robustness and reliability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Android application development experience with extensive use of Kotlin Multiplatform and well-known dependency injection frameworks.
  • Experience building well-architected applications that follow established design patterns independently.
  • Good understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including working knowledge of mobile architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigms under Android, memory management, file I/O, network programming, concurrency, multithreading, and publishing Android apps in the Play Store.
  • Experience working with remote teams in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality software against aggressive schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, formal and informal).
  • Reactive programming experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in navigation-based applications is advantageous.
